How to make iphone 3G work in India which is bought in UK?
I got an iphone 3G as a gift which was originally bought in UK without any contract from any mobile carrier. Now how to unlock it to work in India and make the full use of 3G by using BSNL 3G and can i update the firmware in future, can i install apps from app store from itunes or is that now if i unlock it means jailbreak? or there is any normal unlock just to support other mobile service providers.?
Please help with a suitable solution , it is just 1 week i had this iphone with me. i cant wait anymore to see the full power of it with the 3G in India.

First of all unlock that phone with some repair centres.
