Looking for a solar .. cell phone charger?
I'm looking for a solar charger that can adapt voltage wise and prudent to connect following devices: a Dell Inspiron 1420 A Canon sx10is (A classic iPod phone Sony Ericsson (W380i) I've been looking but many shippers do not have all adapters from the list and many also says nothing about laptops. Is the voltage difference between what requires a laptop and a phone what is required too large to put on a charger? Is sunlight too weak to power a laptop required? Thanks
The sunlight is too weak, it is only the power required would be a small panel. You may have at least 4 to 6 square feet of panel. Maybe 50W at 18V for iPod and phone, you can probably use a cell phone charger. Some will run from 12 to 24. The camera uses AA batteries, so you need a NiMH charger with solar energy, or it can accept 12 to 24.
