The mobile phone industry is experiencing a massive slow sales after a boom huge worldwide. "Nokia", enjoying 40% of world market lost almost one third of its value in the stock market operations. In Pakistan, the number total subscribers shows a decrease from 0.7% in the last two months. The main reason for this is 70% decrease in imports in the period July-December 2008. This decrease is due to the imposition of customs duties Rs.500 per game in the last budget and Rs.250 as a regulatory requirement introduced in August to industry. Government imposed these rights to raise more revenue to meet the objective of the Fund's income and dictation. The decrease in sales is also being suffered first and second world's largest markets like China and India with 650 and 300 million subscribers respectively. But in Pakistan and in all developing countries, this boom would be achieved. As in Pakistan only half of the population is the possession of cell mobile and still almost half the population represents a market that is touching. That government has to reduce burden on mobile users in terms of decreasing rights and the taxes already imposed. Also companies have mobile connection to reduce their rates to ease their customers without mobile connections, Mobile phones are no use. If the global culture of paying bills and payments through mobile phones in Pakistan would increase, industry mobile phones would rise again. Also the connection and mobile phone companies would have to reach and hit the rural and backward areas the country where mobile phone is still like a dream, to support booming mobile phone industry.
