How much custom fees, import duty and taxes will be applicable to buy books from Amazon.com to India?
I want to buy a couple of books from amazon.com because in Indian online book stores like rediff and infibeam price for those books are higher than US price. even after shipping charges they are half of what Indian stores pricing.
Amazon.com global program offers estimation of duties and taxes and collects as well on importers behalf but it does not calculate and tell me when i am placing order in amazon.com.
So how much it will be for a couple of books (paperback)?
and Are those fess and taxes change according to quantity and weight (e.g. mobile phone)?
