Where I can fix my Lacie external hard drive?
I have a mobile hard drive with all my files, photos and music. It is basically my life. It worked great until one day, it's not connected to the computer (which means no stars and up). Even the light in the ignition device. I am very optimistic that it's about a broken connection in it, i can not work. The files should still be in it. I am sure of this because the socket for the cable provided has been quite loose. I tried to contact LaCie.com about my problem, but are completely useless because they do not perform this service. I am willing to pay any amount to access my data. Is there a place I can put?
Sounds like a cable problem. You may purchase a hard drive case and power connections SUB supply. If you know what you are doing you could remove the unit case is the Cir and place in the new. If the disk drive itself is not defective should be good to go. Apart from any good local computer store will do it for you. I suggest that if you get back, then make a backup DVD or second hard drive. I have three copies of all my music and photos
