How I can get my British Dyson to work in Canada?
I brought my British (240volts) Dyson here in Canada (110 volts) and I need to correct converter to run it. My laptop, camera and mobile phone all plug directly into the mains, so you can stay in touch. My hi-fi and has a power converter for music is no problem. However, my carpet is missing from care (Apart from daily brushing with an electric thing Bex Bissell that only has the dust on the surface). This is my last desperate attempt to recover my work before Dyson and I have to go buy a new one. Please help!
The first thing to do is ignore sue! I can not work half the stress! Is needed 120/240 volt transformer step at least 1200watts on the model of Dyson. This would be quite heavy, big and costly. He also drew at least 10-12 amps from the wall, I'm not sure you'll get much power to a wall outlet in Canada! Why not buy a Canadian model ready to go, or replace motor with a 120 volt version of Dyson?
