Why is my HARD DRIVE FULL??
please only answer if you know a lot about computers.
I dont understand why my hd is almost full.
My HP pavillion notebook has this:
-WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM, 32-BIT OPERATING SYSTEM
-TOTAL AVAILABLE GRAPHICS MEMORY: 287 MG
-TOTAL MEMORY RAM: 1GB
-PROCESSOR: AMD TURION(TM) 64 *2 MOBILE TECHNOLOGY TL-52 1.60 GHZ
-FREE SPACE ON HARD DRIVE: 6.1 GB FROM A TOTAL OF 105 GB
my documents included music, videos, pics etc are 35 GB.
There are 87 programs in total in my notebook.
Ive already cleaned my HD, included Temp files.
Note: I used to rip a lot of DVD. I have come to thinking they are stored somewhere but I have not found anything for weeks.
It must be the temporary image of the DVD’s you used to rip. Go to your documents and check the capacity of each folder to see which one has excessive size so you can find those images or what takes so much space in your drive. Also you can download this demo of this maintenance program, one of its features is to tell you what is using your hard drive space.http://www.download.com/3000-2086_4-10733752.html
