Samsung i617 and ActiveSync 4.5 on WinXP: "Activesync can not connect to the Windows Mobile device." Why?
I have a Samsung i671 (Also known as Jack Black II) who had some connection issues before I used a VPN to work. I was able to solve these uninstalling VPN, reinstall ActiveSync, then reinstall the VPN. Today, I uninstalled the VPN for all (no longer needed). Now my computer will not connect to Internet for IE (although Outlook has no problem) and my phone does not sync with ActiveSync 4.5, giving the above error. Basic Fixes are no help. Uninstalling reinstalling has not helped. Any ideas?
if you are using Internet Explorer 8. then goto Tools> Network Diagnostic problems. that fix or atleast show you what is wrong.
