Why are people saying that GTA 4 is better than Grand theft auto San Andreas when it clearly isn’t?
Let me just go through the pros and cons for GTA 4
PROS: Amazing graphics, the cars look absolutely amazing, the buildings look amazing. The police are challenging. You can take cabs; you can use mobile phones. But thats about it
CONS: Things to do is seriously limited, there is literally no fun in this game. You can’t buy property, the missions are boring and repetitive. Their are too many cut scenes. The driving is just awful. You can’t go to the gym, theres not many buildings to go in too. You have all that money you’ve earned and theres nothing to spend it on except rubbish weapons, cabs, and food.
I mean come on. San andreas may have lacked graphics wise. But it’s so fun!

What do I think? I think it’s a matter of opinion, and what do you, or anyone else, really care if someone prefers one game over another? It’s like the whole stupid “my console is better than yours” argument – nobody gives a damn. If you prefer San Andreas to GTA IV then you should be very happy for yourself. Or not, it’s not really important.
That said, saying there is “literally no fun in [GTA IV]” is maybe being a touch over dramatic considering it has been near universally praised.
