In My Computer in Windows I have 4 categories "Files Stored in this PC "," Hard Disk "," Devices with Removable Storage "and" other. "The section Other "I have this thing called" mobile device "and I want to delete it. Any ideas?
Good luck. Category is a standard in Windows. It is used to communicate with wireless devices, including Wi-Fi, or infrared Bluethooth. If your computer is equipped with none of them are in that category. Extraction would prevent you from being able to use any device of its kind in the future. Because it is a necessary category for the working, no way to delete it. You would have to hack the registry and remove all references to it from there. If done wrong, could prevent the computer to boot. Unless you are very familiar with editing the registry, I recommend you leave it alone.
