Why my laptop fan running every time?
I have a Toshiba Satellite E105, I just upgraded to Windows in July 1962 and I noticed bits the fan is always from the beginning to sleep or shut down, I am just wondering is this normal or is there something really bad happens in my laptop, too just a normal laptop with just make sounds that u can clearly hear the fan out. Specifications: * Processor Intel ® Core ™ 2 Duo P7450 OPERATING SYSTEM * Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) * Memory 4GB DDR2 800 MHz memory * graphics engine Intel ® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD * 500GB Hard Drive hard drive (5400 rpm) * Optical Drive DVD-SuperMulti (+ /-R double layer) with Labelflash ™
This is normal, since the new operating system is using more of the computers resources. If you're worried about overheating, try GPU-Z to check temps. has a first class portable and the system shuts itself off before overheating. An auxiliary cooling laptop dock is cheap insurance for your system, and not too expensive. A GPU like yours can run up to 70 degrees. (Celsius), @ CPU about 50 degrees. C. The other noise is most likely the hard drive or optical drive, which is also normal. Sounds hardrive is known as "unity" Noise and sometimes indicate a failing drive, or simply a need to defrag this will speed up searches and times access. VERY unlikely that with the computer. As I said, additional sounds attritutable the new operating system that use more resouces, and should not be cause for concern.
