What laws governing mobile homes in Dallas County and the city of Dallas? More specifically, where I can find these laws? Basically, I have a good deal on a mobile home and a lot needs to be moved within the limits of the city of Dallas (Dallas County, of course). City water, power and sewer are available in the lot. I recently moved here from Houston and there was a law that essentially says "no new mobile homes allowed in the city limits of Houston – remodeling of an existing one is fine, but no new mobile homes?. Is this the case in Dallas, so does anyone know where the law governing exactly? Thanks.
