Average Electric Bill?
Recently moved to a mobile home in January. I just received my first months electric bill. Is 326.00. I have a two bedroom two bathrooms. I live in Alabama. Does it not seem high to you? I'm not sure that this is right. However, when the company asked Energy told I have to pay .. is correct. I had this same company for 10 years somewhere else and never (even in summer) had a bill as high. What do you think? The bail before we had the electricity turned on … I am going to get the power company here before paying account. Thanks!
Maybe your new home has electrical resistance heating (eg, space heaters or portable electric heaters electric baseboard) instead of gas, oil or electric heat pump. They are cheap to buy and install but use a lot of electricity. Can be that, from his new home, have your electric meter with a meter mixed local business. Check that the serial number on the invoice matches the number stamped on your meter. The circuits may be wired wrong. Your system may be providing electricity to several other houses. Have an electrician check. Could it be that they misinterpret the meter too high. Ask them to reread the meter. It could be that a bomb (well, sump ejector) runs all the time. An electrician should be able to fix this point. Could it be that the previous reading of the meter (before moved in) was misunderstood too low or too low recorded in error. If this were a one time event could admit that the previous reading can not be confirmed. The recording meter might be shot too high (long, usually not through the registry too low). Have them check the meter.
