The incredible power of prayer to protect, guide and save lives
Prayer is the act of communicating with a god or spirit in worship. Also is called a devout petition to God or an object of worship.
Prayer has given the history of humanity was one of the most powerful methods for achieving results. Prayers come in different degrees of intensity and definition. 'Desperate Prayer' To save a life, maybe yours or someone else, is a type of application. A prayer might be "the prayer of gratitude." A simple I am the beneficiary of the "incredible" power of prayer. I will describe my experience so you can accept the prayer in your life and never feel shy to use it for their daily needs and those of others.
Before Christians formed their religion, most of their sentences were derived from the Old Testament. Jesus taught his disciples to pray the "Our Father." It was then that people heard the words, "Our Father which art in heaven ,…" This special prayer became his disciples' prayer and the future of the Christian masses to use for the rest of their lives. All religions today have their own unique sentences used for a variety of reasons, including: weddings, baptisms, bar mitzvahs, funerals, the very sick, and many more.
I'll explain how to pray for their protection, and their loved ones and friends. It will also provide guidance in times of confusion and despair, especially during these times of economic downturn, the loss of income and foreclosure for many families in the U.S.
Prayer, in a similar vein, it works like holy water. At first you are not sure whether someone is listening to you, or holy water will do anything for you. When asked the Lord for help, you may not have faith that their prayers will be answered, and that's okay! But, if your request is made by an honest and legitimate reason, you will receive. If you need a job and you have tried everything possible to find one and not been successful, ask God to help you find a job that is right for you. If you are totally broken and needs money to pay bills, ask God to get money for you. If you do all your requests with courage and determination, you get the results you are looking for. Fe go!
When I travel in the U.S. or a foreign country, I pray for God to release me and the rest of the people on the plane. In the recent accident in the Atlantic Ocean Airbus that goes from Rio de Janeiro to Paris, which made the choice of passengers and crew members, while the aircraft was on a "course of disaster?" There were none, except to say a short prayer before all were killed – if indeed there was any time at all to pray! Will that stop people accident travel? I do not think so and we will continue to expose our lives to the laws of nature, and mistakes made by humans.
If we have to go anywhere long-distance part, we are forced to travel by plane, car, train, bus or boat, and move on with our lives. We can not stop a drunk driver getting on the highway and cause an accident, more than we can avoid the "giant" Atlantic tropical storms happen. Prayer is therefore the best method for ordering many kinds of help from God, and perhaps the only way.
The following illustrations are provided for your benefit when used prayer of your life. We all want a safe and abundant life for ourselves, our loved ones and friends. The prayer has worked for me and for many people in the world during centuries, and also work for you!
I will show instances where my prayers have been answered over and over again.
1) Remember these words, and say silently or out loud when you need it, "Lord, please help me," anytime you need help urgently. God can not refuse to go to rescue. You will be sent an angel to intercede on their behalf, or a human being will help. In other cases, events and situations will change for your benefit otherwise would have had a negative impact or tragic in your life, and their loved ones and friends. Meanwhile, is totally unaware of what is happening around you.
Example: I was in Buenos Aires, one night, and I was stuck waiting for a taxi in a neighborhood that was not well lit at two o'clock. Phones phones were not in use then, and I had no way to communicate with any of my friends for a ride. Suddenly, I was approached by three "rough-looking individuals" it had no plans to take a bus or a taxi. I immediately said a prayer for help as soon as one of the guys asked me for money. What I felt was a feeling as if an "invisible shield" had been placed around me. Individuals stopped abruptly toward me and would not come closer to where I was. I stood in silence with eyes and not say another word. A few seconds later, a taxi appeared out of nowhere. I stopped and put her immediately.
2) Pray that you become an instrument of prayer and blessings to everyone in your life. To pray for others who will be praying for yourself too, and while makes your needs are met. It's that simple!
Example: A parent recently read my article on "The healing power of holy water," and he asked me to send him a bottle of holy water. I did as a courtesy, but went a step further. I asked for a photo of your child who is autistic. Every day I say a prayer for his son five years old, and I put holy water in your digital photo I have on my laptop. You may not feel the need to make some this nature, but you can be sure there are people in the world right now who are praying for their welfare at this moment, and have no idea who they are.
3) Before each meal, thank the Lord for the food, if you live alone or have family members living with you. This simple ritual will help you to be grateful for everything they have, and all that comes to you. It also provides a good model for their children.
Example: When you travel that is eaten in many places and restaurants, and hope the food is well prepared and not get sick. Even at home, sometimes the food may have problems. Bless this meal with a prayer each time and you should be fine. Is might want to keep it short and say: "Lord, bless this food." That's all you have to say. I had my share of restaurants in the past years, and I do not remember a moment that I received "mortal disease" of eating food. I am always blessed the food, and in many cases you would in silence.
4) On each trip, short or long distance, and in any mode of transport, say a prayer for protection. In simple terms, asking God for you and your family and friends, if they are traveling with you, safe from accidents or unusual situations. Bless your vehicle is what comes to your destination safe and sound.
Example: I used to travel around the world with Occidental Petroleum Company, when I worked for them in the 70's through the 90's. On a business trip to Islamabad, Pakistan in early 1980, I got caught up in a large invasion aimed at the U.S. Embassy killing of Americans and Pakistanis. In the attack, a group of us were totally at the mercy of the mafia in Pakistan. From out of the crowd, two Pakistani young adults came to my hand and protection it offers. I accepted it graciously, and others helped me walk through the most dangerous stages of invasion. I clearly remember saying a prayer for help at one point. Then I thanked the Lord for my "protectors" and their families. During this time, the huge American Embassy compound in Islamabad was engulfed in flames and people were dying in the process.
5) If you have children of any age, and live with you, or are on their own, pray for them regularly for their health, success and protection. Take time from your busy schedule to think about your family in prayer. As a parent, you go to children with the greatest service that a parent can possibly ever if you pray for their lives every day. If a family member suffering from a serious illness ask God to help you and them. Allow the Lord to take over, and bless the doctors and nurses who care for your loved one.
Example: My son suffers from epilepsy, and he still has to go on with your life. I pray that the medicine does its job and not get hurt if they suffer from a sudden attack. My other two children are doing well and studying hard at university. I pray for your success and prosperity as well.
6) To achieve peace in your life, Catholic, for example, teaches us to pray the "Our Father", and "Ave Maria." These are two very powerful prayers that are going to worship God and praise the Virgin Mary. They are also used for protection and forgiveness. You may want to take one or two sentences in your daily routine, saying in the silence of your room your office or while driving. If you need to know other sentences that apply to their religion, by all means apply them.
Example: I have had for many years said these two sentences each day. I repeat at least five times a day, in one session. So let go of my life and let God take control. If something happened to me, at least I can say I've made peace with God. I do not want to leave this world angry with someone, or bitter for any part of my life that did not happen. My daily prayers are prayers of thanks for my life and my family and friends. If I need any special or urgent assistance from God, then surely my application without shame and with total freedom.
Your life will be a long journey, happy and peaceful when prayer becomes a part of everyday life. Be a shining example to his family and friends for their devotion their religion. You will be amazed how it feels when your prayers are enriched with love and compassion, love and humility, praise and gratitude.
