How I can transfer contacts from my Nokia 8290 cell phone to my new MOTOKRZR K1m?
I just got a new cell phone and switching companies (T-Mobile to Verizon) and want to transfer all of my old phone numbers in my new one. The numbers are stored on a card of SM in the Nokia but does not seem compatible with MOTOKRZR. Is there a way I can either make the numbers directly from the old phone to new one, or transfer (Not all at once, contact by contact) numbers on my computer or my Palm and then send the new phone? I need step by step instructions or a website that explains how. T-Mobile and Verizon websites and customer service / support have not been able to help and I'm afraid the idea of having to input my contact list manually "No, I'm not stupid, but obviously you are or not you have suggested I do the same thing I said I'm trying to avoid – 100s copy of the contacts individually.
to unless the two phones have an IR (Infrared) or Bluetooth capable Keys then you will have them, I think you're stuck, b / c while you Nokia phone has numbers stored in SIM card, the Verizon phones are CDMA and do not use SIM cards, so can not be transferred via a SIM card. IR or Bluetooth is the only way to transfer your contacts but I'm not entirely sure if that is possible given the models of their phones.
