Hard Disk Memory problems …?
Says my C drive 231GB of total … I have used 112GB in it .. But not all my files were up to and including 50 GB .. I've been trying to clean the record over and over again, check the volume of the system for the mistake twice (and it takes a long time) but its still the same memory? What is wrong with him? His loss of room: (My laptop specs: OS: Windows Vista Home Premium Sys Mfr: Toshiba AMD Turion mobile technology. 3Gig of ram @ rich: My 231 GB hard drive actually has .. I recently juz have 148 GB of free space, but suddenly when it restarts only had 111 GB of free space left. but then has not yet installed or anything, I tried the disk cleanup, but still does not turn into 148 ..
if your problem is that the manufacturer had labeled as 250GB to 231GB HDD but inside is then its perfectly fine. 250GB is a theoretical value predicted by formula 231GB, when in fact he is the real giving. according to your additional details, it seems that a virus must have entered into the hard disk. Run a full system scan using a reliable antivirus program (preferably Norton Internet Security 2009). If the problem still persists get checked by a professional person. I think if we still problem could then be part of ur hard disk might have been damaged. But get it checked and if the warranty period, get it replaced:)
