How I can get the mobile hard disk drive for Apple to work on Windows XP?
I borrowed an Apple Mobile Disk external hard drive to copy files My computer is Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3. When i plug in the USB (2.0) and put into service – Windows recognizes the disc and know it is there (selected in the BIOS and the Device Manager – Apple's hard drive is shown there and is enabled and it seems to work well), but does not appear in My Computer or Explorer or any elsewhere. Remove icon appears in the system tray and I can safely remove "USB Mass Storage Device" (Apple's hard drive), but I can not access the drive everyone. I tried it on another computer, which also recognizes the external drive from Apple (which also shows the name of the device and Windows says its fully installed and ready for use), but again I can not access it at all. Please help. What do I need to do to get to Woking? Thanks
Apple Mobile runs in the Macintosh system, are completely two different systems may be able to recognize, but since it works, will not open. Sorry, I can help.
