PDA vs Pocket PC?
I am very ignorant about PDAs and handheld computers and would like some ideas and advice. I want to print a computer device running Excel, Access (or some form of a database), and compiled Visual Basic programs. Surfing the web is not a concern with this device and I have a cell phone for your type of communication. In the pocket pc's that I have been considering HP iPAQ hx2495 and HP iPAQ hx2795 with Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC, Premium Edition operating system. I have not been able to determine much about the ability of the Palm OS. The big question is … Pocket PC is not a real PDA running under the Palm operating system, do what I am looking for or do I have to go with premium Windows Mobile compatible machines? If this sounds like a silly question confusion or remember, I said that was ignorant on the subject.
stick with a Windows based machine I've tried both [the greedy hand held] fan and never stray Windows version of best selling palm i two days after buying it lost money, but not as much as if he had launched against him was that I was tempted to do on several occasions – is a very limited o / s made the previous edition after reading the answer ……. dell is a good dose of play I have the Axim X51v has the highest resolution VGA screen unlike the more common QVGA screens smaller machines unfortunately I think dell has withdrawn from the market pda a shame! sorry, from of sounding like a salesman lol
