Office 2010 – Features
Development of Office 2010 was launched in 2006, while Microsoft was just finishing work on Office 12, released as Microsoft Office 2007. Previously it was thought Office 2010 (then called Office 14) would send in the first half of 2009, although it is officially announced that Office 2010 will be available in 2010.
Microsoft has also confirmed officially launch of Office 2010 is May 12. Consumers will not be able to buy the product until June. In January 2010 Microsoft announced that Office prices. Office 2010 will be released in at least five different flavors, including a free version that includes Microsoft Word and Excel, but comes with limited functionality and includes advertisements. Office 2010 Editions include Starter, Home and Student, Home and Business, Professional and Academic Training.
Features –
Microsoft Office 2010 include updated support for ISO / IEC compliant version of OOXML, which was standardized as ISO / IEC 29500:2008 March 2008. The intention of ISO / IEC is to allow the removal of the variant of the ISO compliant Transitional / IEC version of OOXML standard.
The new features are also said to include an integrated screen capture, a background removal tool, a way of protected document, new SmartArt templates and author permissions. Confirmed features of Office 2010 include:
