Porting the C + + to Visual Studio?
I have a C + + project written for the Linux platform – the project is quite large and has many. Hy. Cpp. I need to port this way it can work in a Windows Mobile 6.1. So I installed Visual Studio 2008 (free trial), SDK, and images emulator. I'm a bit confused as to what to do next. In VS I have to go to File -> New -> Project from existing code. ? Thereafter What should I do? Let's say I have a file per hour. (In writing to the Linux platform). Basically How do I start the porting process?
You could try to draft existing code, but you may want to make a file or something similar. In fact, I think it is to add existing project. It may be better to select a new project the right type and name accordingly. Then copy all source files in the directory of your done. You can then add these files to the project using Project | Add Article | existing. If you drag and drop files into the project in the Solution Explorer window to do the same. You have to modify the main (or equivalent) that gives VS to contain the code. Hope that helps.
