Can Windows Mobile get a virus?
I have an HTC Touch Diamond w/ Windows Mobile 6.1. I constantly am connected to the internet on my phone because I just love it!! What I am trying to find out is if my phone is just like a regular computer and should have some sort of AntiVirus program installed? Is it capable of getting a virus?
You do not need them. I suppose it could get a virus but it is not going to. Since the majority of the computers on the internet are PC’s, they are the most targeted for virus’… virus’s can be on MAC’s also, but they are very rare, because people don’t develop virus’ for them yet.
Don’t worry about it, you will not get a virus.. and even if you do, and it is designed for your phone, you can always do a hard reset, and it will go away, without much trouble.
