Everytime I try to install a program on my pocket pc, it is always unsuccesful.What could be wrong?

I’ve just bought a new iPaq RX4540 pocket pc with windows mobile 5. I always use activesync to install any program.But then, I will get an alert on the pocket pc itself saying that the installation is unsuccesful. Help me please.

It could be the program you’re installing.

WM5 has this security/certificates(whatever!) that sometime won’t allow you to install some program.

Try to look more closely on the PPC screen. Is there
anything else it says before the unsuccessful?
It might say “the sofware you’re installing is not trusted/unsigned” something, you have to say yes.

ActiveSync sometimes put the .cab file of the installing program in program filesactivesync folder on your computer.
If it did for this program, try copy the .cab file to your memory card.
then from the PPC, goto the memory card, find the cab file then run it.

If nothing works, contact the software vendor.
